Goodnight, Moon.

It’s 4:41 am right now. I would usually have been home for about a half hour at this point. I’m really looking forward to spring getting itself in gear so that this time of night will be less frigid.

Number one hazard of driving home at this hour? You might think it’s getting drowsy, and sure, that’s probably in the top five, but number one, y’all? Deer. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. Waiting, watching me drive by, lurking at the edge of the brush dumbfounded by headlights and trying to decide weather or not to dart out in front of my car.
It’s enough to make me want to take up hunting to control their population, or at the very least, carry an air-soft gun in the car. I hate them so much now. I used to think they were cute, Bambi used to make me sad.
Not any more my friends, and Bambi, if your parents darted out in front of people’s vehicles in the dead of night, then they got what they deserved, you hear me!?

As for office antics, nothing much to report beyond yesterday’s customer who was dissatisfied that our services happened to be, for her, exactly as advertised. I did however get to have a giggle fit every time that particular adviser called the office, when she apologized for being good at her job, and promised to suck a bit more.
I told her only with that person, thanks. I’d like people to continue calling so that I continue to have a salary and keep that magic little piece of plastic in my wallet, the almighty insurance card.
