Something totally random was on my mind the other night as I listened to the mish-mash of old and new/terrible Madonna songs that mog.com played for me as I worked.

That thought was: Think of a movie Madonna was in. I bet your initial thought was not “Who’s that girl?” Why does no one ever talk about what was possibly her greatest movie outside of “A League of Their own.”

I remember seeing that movie for the first time when I was reasonably young, too young to understand that singing like a prayer all the time and dancing along with the video was probably innappropirate for someone of any age, let alone a kid as young as I would have been.

(Also, who’s got two thumbs and didn’t know why Jesus(?) was black in that video? This gal!)

Not that I don’t think black Jesus is cool, cause clearly, he is. I just, didn’t understand what the message was with that whole video, other than it apparently foreshadowing the slip dresses I’d be wearing sometime when I was 15.

I digress. “Who’s That Girl”

Perhaps, most importnantly, SHE COULD CHARM COUGARS Y’ALL! I have always envied the way that cougar just did whatever she told it to. I hoped one day to be able to boss around a large cat of my own. I’ve sort of gotten that wish, but fat as he may be Morgan is no cougar.

If you have netflix, do yourself a favor and get this dvd. On a cheese factor from 1-10, it’s probably an 11, but cheese is good, especially when Madonna makes it.

Plus, you know, cougar charming.
