So tonight I apparently took a detour through the set pieces for the remake of “The Fog” on the way home from work. Seriously, maybe 20 feet of visibility. However my desire to be at home, and lack of common sense empowered me to drive about 15mph the entire way in order to get home tonight.

I know I’ve neglected you, my poppets. Nothing particularly entertaining has been going on, we watched “Twister” during Irene, survived, and only lost power for a few hours. Conveniently, while I was working from home! This however provided an excuse to sap Cosi’s wifi and have dinner out, so, can’t complain too much.

This month has some adventure in store. We’ll be visiting the Dirty Jerz to see another Kevin Smith Q&A, as well as the View Askew Street Hockey League play a charity tournement. Martin, Steph and I will be going. Should be good fun, I feel a sense of pleasant antici…..pation for the trip.

If you get that reference, let’s be best friends, ok?

At the end of October will be the revival of my once yearly ‘Edgar Allen Party’ the Halloween blowout held at myplace will be happening, possibly with the addition of Mauro on visit from Florida, wouldn’t that be lovely?

Spoilers: Martin will be going as Dr. Who, and I will be going as Jem (I already have the hair and hot pink outfit, so, why not?)

In other news, if you’re not watching ‘My Drunk Kitchen’ there is something missing in your life, and that something is an adorable little lesbian named Hannah Hart. Seriously, you need to be watching this girl. She’s lovely and funny and she makes me smile.
