I had a lot of different things happening in my life as of this time last year. I feel like things have progressed for the better. I have better people in my life, and am developing constructive habits. I’ve lost over 35 pounds, and plan to continue that trend, this last month has been the busiest, most social, and most rewarding so far. I’d also like to say hello to my little brothers friends who apparently read this, howdy guys, hope you dig this post. Congrats on supporting the superior sibling.
Thanksgiving this year was low key, but I did make an effort to look nice for the holiday.
On Black Friday I hosted a D&D night, which quickly degenerated into a small party as we had about 15 people over. We did accomplish making charachter sheets thanks to the intrepid Kyle, but that is about as far as we got. Cat was referred to as a Drewish princess several times, and Dave sang a shanty about a gay pirate named Rainbow Beard.
December 8th I went to the Phoenix festival with Cat and a few of her friends, two of which Zak and Sara graciously hosted hangouts post burnination. Cat knows all the awesome people. Afterwards, we went back to Cat’s watched some TV and crashed. Flats are not the idea shoes to wear walking around wet fairgrounds in December, this is a lesson I will only need to learn the hard way once.

On December 15th Tammy threw a super fun Holiday decorating party at her house (my former place of work) I am surprised I didn’t shoot off flames of hatred the minute we stepped onto the property, but it was pretty cold out, so I am guessing that’s what kept us all safe.
On December 15th I had a meeting with a new client, thanks to Hannah. Girl has my back! I’m redoing 3 websites for him, and some logo work with more to come. I was very, very excited to get this opportunity. He also gave me part of my fee up front so after my meeting I grabbed Cat and Steph to go get some extra presents for friends and family. We went to Care N’ Share for their 3rd Friday sale, I scored some excelent things, then to Assi for sushi with Andy and Shannon, then finished up at Walmart for wrapping and extra gifts.
On December 21st, I went to Liza’s holiday party and got to catch up with friends who were in the wedding. It’s always a good group when I go to her place, I always leave grinning and laughing.

On December 24th we had our annual Christmas Eve party, also known as Jewmas. Lots of family came by as well as Tammy, Ervin, his sister Cathy, Hannah, and Mauro. Also featured: Me in a dress that is 10 sizes smaller than what I wore for Christmas last year. 10 sizes smaller.
Christmas day we opened presents and then went visiting.
